Alcaraz’s Power Too Much for Norrie

The defending champion looked sharp right from the start. Alcaraz served 13 aces, won 89% of points on his first serve, and hit 39 winners. Norrie, on the other hand, could manage just 13 winners.

Alcaraz dominated rallies and controlled the pace of the match. His footwork, shot selection, and serve were all on point.

“It’s one of my best matches here,” Alcaraz said after the win. “The crowd was with Norrie, but I stayed focused on my game.”

Norrie Fails to Challenge the Reigning Champion

Despite the Centre Court crowd backing him, Cameron Norrie struggled to break Alcaraz’s rhythm. His serve was inconsistent, and his return game never really clicked.

Even tennis legend John McEnroe criticised Norrie’s lack of aggression, suggesting the Brit needed to show more fire and energy.

Third Straight Wimbledon Title in Sight

Alcaraz has now reached the semi-finals for the third straight year. He is chasing his third Wimbledon crown, and based on current form, few would bet against him.

His next opponent is Taylor Fritz, who stunned a top-seeded player earlier in the day. The semi-final promises to be a high-voltage clash.
