India’s women’s compound archery team stormed into the final of the Archery World Cup Stage 4 in Madrid. They defeated a strong Indonesian side 230–226 in a tightly contested semifinal on July 10.

The trio of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Parneet Kaur, and Prithika Pradeep kept their composure under pressure. Despite trailing early, they turned the match around with powerful shooting in the final ends.
Indonesia Started Strong, But India Had the Last Word
Indonesia opened the semifinal with sharp grouping and held a slight edge after the first end. India looked shaky at first, but they didn’t panic.
