Ghaziabad Accusation: 5-Year Relationship Turns Into Legal War
In June 2025, a woman from Ghaziabad accused Yash Dayal of exploiting her emotionally, mentally, and physically for over five years. She said he promised marriage, gained her trust, and then walked away.
The complaint was filed on the UP Jansunwai portal, prompting police to act.


FIR Under BNS: Dayal Booked for Sexual Exploitation
By July 6, police registered an FIR under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which targets sexual acts by misrepresentation or fraud.
The woman claimed she was tricked into consent, making this a case of deceitful intercourse, not mutual agreement.
Dayal denied wrongdoing and filed a counter-complaint, accusing the woman of stealing his iPhone and extorting money.


Court Relief: High Court Stays Dayal’s Arrest
Dayal moved the Allahabad High Court seeking bail and relief. On July 15, the court stayed his arrest, noting the complexity of the case.

Justice Jyotsna Sharma said:
“One can be fooled for a day, not five years.”
The court hinted that a long consensual relationship weakens the charge of cheating through false promises.


Jaipur FIR: POCSO Charges After Minor’s Accusation
On July 23, fresh trouble arrived. A minor girl filed an FIR in Jaipur, accusing Dayal of raping her multiple times in 2023 when she was just 17.
She alleged Dayal used his status as a cricketer to lure her with dreams of selection and mentorship, then sexually assaulted her in a Jaipur hotel and private party setups.
The case has been filed under the POCSO Act, which deals strictly with crimes against minors.


What Dayal Says: Denial, Counter-FIRs, and Silence
Yash Dayal hasn’t spoken publicly, but his legal team has dismissed both allegations as malicious.
In the Ghaziabad case, his lawyers called it a dispute between former partners.
In the Jaipur FIR, they are yet to respond, but sources suggest a formal denial is coming.
Dayal’s camp has already alleged a larger conspiracy to target his career.
